Last year Rick Cibelli signed up with a company that promised to reduce or eliminate his student loan payments from a 2001 paralegal certificate. He tried to cancel after he found out that the company wasn’t affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education as advertised, and they refused. He disputed the charge and was able to get his money back. Cibelli’s mother, Lynn, is in the background. He rents a room from her. Cibelli is shown at his dining room table, where he sits and has his briefcase, papers and personal items.
